TOPS NEWS: Students Penalized For Exam Malpractice and Misconduct.

The report of the SDC meeting held on Thursday 3rd of November 2022. At the Rector’s conference room.

The meeting commenced at exactly 10: 51am
Opening prayer was done by: The Dean School Of Engineering

The meeting was based on the judgment or sanction of those that fell victim to examination malpractice during the first semester 2021/2022 academic session.

The name of the students and their penalties are as follows:

1. Oladipupo Oluwapelumi Michael HND2 20HPA081 Public administration. He was caught with jotting while writing PAD411. He was given 2 semesters as a penalty, second semester 21/22 and first semester 22/23 academic sessions.
2. Semiu Jamiu Ishola ND2 20PPA271 Public administration. He was caught with a microchip while writing PAD218. He was given 1 semester as a penalty, the second semester 21/22 academic session.
3. Abdulraheem Abdraman Kehinde ND2 20PPA075 Public administration. He was caught with a microchip while writing PAD213. He was given 1 semester as a penalty, the second semester 21/22 academic session.
4. Adeyemi Abdulahi Damilola ND2 20PPA271 Public administration. He was caught with jotting while writing LGS102. He was given 1 semester as a penalty, second semester 21/22 academic sessions.
5. Ogunrin Ajibola Malik ND2 19PPA351 Public administration. He was caught with prepared material while writing PAD223 and also he failed to show up before the School Disciplinary Committee three consecutive times, according to the school law, the penalty is Expulsion.
6. Rafiu Abduhamad Adeniyi ND2 19PPA037 Public administration . He was caught with a piece of paper while writing PAD224 and also he failed to show up before the School Disciplinary Committee three consecutive times and according to the school law, the penalty is Expulsion.
7. Abdulazeez Mustapha Atanda ND1 20NPA116 Public administration. He was caught surfing the net while writing LGS101 and also he failed to show up before the School Disciplinary Committee three consecutive times and according to the school law, the penalty is Expulsion.
8. Rasheed Ridwan Olamilekan HND2 20HNS009 Insurance department. He was caught with a prepared answer script during INS412. He was given 2 semesters as a penalty i.e second semester 2122 and first semester 22/23 academic sessions.

GROSS MISCONDUCT FIRST SEMESTER 20/21 ACADEMIC SESSION.

1. Omole Ayodeji Ibrahim 19HFM008 Agric Engr. He was alleged of life-threatening and assault to the Dean of Student Affairs, and also he failed to show up before the School Disciplinary Committee, so the decision was indefinite suspension.
2. Ajisebutu Kayode HND 1 Business administration. He was alleged of been rude to the security men at the school’s main gate, yet he failed to show up before the School Disciplinary Committee, so the decision was Indefinite suspension.
