RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE
Nigeria is a country populated with over 200 million people, over 200 spoken languages and ethnic groups, Although some major Elite or tribes are known for some religion, for example, the Hausa, Fulani are mostly known to be Muslims, The Igbos are majorly Christians while the Yorubas has a huge diversity unlike the two other tribes above.

Today, religious missionaries and preacher spread their wings of their call to salvation and it brings about unity in diversity in tribes, for example, you will see Hausa Christians and Igbo Muslims, all living together in peace.

What brings about problem in the community is intolerance, tagging a particular religion as extremists and tagging another as terrorists and knowing clearly known to us that no religion will preach cruelty, but those practicing it might be involved in one terrible act or the other.

The beginning of the solution to problem is getting to realise the problem itself, the time we know within ourselves that we can neither have same opinion rather have same believe but still live with love, that’s when we are going to be at peace. And to those committing crimes in the name of religion, get it straight that you only hurt your loved ones, what do one gain in harming another?.

We were created in different colors, staturs, tribes, dialect, forms, that’s diversity, once we respect other people with their differences, we would restore peace to the land. Let there be religious tolerance.
