The swearing-in ceremony took place on 14th of June 2022
The SRC consist of 20 members after taking of oath of office the SRC members elected their Leaders,

The speaker: Oladejo iyanuoluwa Morufat
Deputy speaker: Fagbemi Samuel
Chief whip: Aniyikaye Samson
Clerk: Olabisi Oyindamola

However, the DSA advice the Honourables to be discipline and be ready to work hand in hand with the SUE for the growth of the Institution and students welfare, the Honourables were also advice to avoid corruption. The staff of office was handed over to the leadership of the SRC.
