The management of Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, Oyo State, has confirmed the arrest of its founder, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, alleging that he was arrested on Thursday morning over his call for justice in the murder of Timothy Adegoke, a Postgraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.
Adegoke died in a hotel owned by Rahmon Adedoyin in Ile-Ife last year.
Adedoyin and his staff have been arrested in connection with the death of Adegoke, a native of Eruwa in Oyo state.
The management of the station has however claimed that its owner was arrested because he has been calling for a thorough investigation in the murder case.
Yousuph Grey Adebayo, Head of Station, Agidigbo 88.7 FM, Ibadan in a statement made available to DAILY POST alleged that the owner of the station was arrested only because he has been calling for justice in the murder of the deceased.
But the FBI disclaim the fact that he was arrested because he was fighting for justice they said he was arrested due to cyber security bullying
