SIWES and Internship: Management discloses plan for concerned ND and HND students

In a decision extract released on 16th of October, 2020, the directorate of Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), in accordance with the NBTE specifications, has mandated the work experience scheme for both ND I and HND I students of The Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, in all schools.

However, unlike the usual four months been used for the work experience scheme, HND I students of all schools are required to undertake their internship for just two months, while the four months still remains unchanged for the ND I students in all schools of the institution.

Sequel to this, all concerned students are required to register with the sum of One thousand, four hundred Naira, (₦1400), to the appropriate place, while orientation talks on the internship and SIWES are set to take place tentatively on three different dates, 2nd, 9th and 16th of December, by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Ibadan area office.
